Quality Staffing Inc. also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the areas top companies is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager/Healthcare Project Manager to workthrough our agency as a contract employee with the state of Tennessee Department of Health (TN DOH) located in Nashville TN. This is a hybrid position working Monday through Fridayfrom 8:00 am 4:30 pm for a total of 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $57.00 per hour.
Sr Program Manager Job Overview:
The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) is seeking a HealthCare Project Manager to support the implementation of a statewide Health Information Exchange (HIE). This role would be responsible for monitoring and reporting on progress identifying issues providing solutions and the day-to-day coordination of project activities. The position will work closely with key department leaders and staff and will be directly responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time in compliance and within budget and for ensuring the effective communications with stakeholders. This opportunity is open only to Tennessee residents and requires a hybrid schedule including at least two (2) in-office days per week with additional on-site presence as needed.
Key Responsibilities for HealthCare Project Manager position:
- Provide effective project management through the completion of the project.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Regularly communicate with department senior leadership and staff.
- Continuously collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Plan develop and express concepts accurately and meet deadlines.
- Assist in the review of deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications for HealthCare Project Manager position:
Education and Experience:
- Must have an undergraduate or advanced degree related to health administration public health administration information management informatics nursing economics business administration or related fields.
- Experience equivalent to substantial (three (3) or more years of) increasingly responsible professional public health program work including at least two (2) years of full-time supervisory work or program oversight.
- Required experience includes at least two (2) years of grant management contract management project management and finance management.
- Experience and proficiency in using Microsoft Office products including Word PowerPoint Excel and SharePoint are required.
- Substitution of Education for Experience: Additional graduate coursework in a business or health-related field may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for one year of the required non-supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications for HealthCare Program Manager position:
- Ideal candidates should be highly detail-oriented and have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- The ability to multitask and to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be customer focused organized and be able to demonstrate professional written and oral communication skills.
