Job Summary
Hospital Pharmacist Part Time
Specialty Medical Staffing is actively seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a hospital coverage assignment in the Tulsa OK area. Whether you are an experienced clinical pharmacist or a motivated early-career professional looking to grow your inpatient skills we encourage you to apply. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative inpatient environment and expand your clinical experience all on a structured contract with competitive pay.
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13-week contract
Schedule: 3 days a week 8-hour shifts
Setting: Hospital inpatient pharmacy
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacist License in good standing (required)
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree
- Inpatient experience is required
- Experience with EPIC or other pharmacy information systems is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- New graduates encouraged to apply
WHAT YOULL DO
- Order verification and clinical review of physician medication orders
- Medication dispensing distribution and inventory management
- Monitoring medication therapy for drug interactions dosing accuracy and safety
- Pharmacokinetic dosing support and clinical consultations
- Medication reconciliation and discharge counseling for patients
- Collaboration with physicians nurses and other care team members
- Accurate documentation and compliance with pharmacy regulations
