Description

In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Grow market share of Emerson FLMC Motion Control by developing existing direct key accounts.

  • Acquire and develop key accounts within assigned territory focusing on OEM and SI.

  • Perform analysis of customers strategic objectives; serve technical consultation to achieve better understanding of customers applications / needs and provide timely response & professional customer-specific solutions.

  • Deliver regular product presentations to existing and potential key customers in a bid to develop new business. Travel to customer sites to present proposals and resolve technical issues.

  • Conduct product training sessions for key accounts.

  • Maintain a high degree of product & technical knowledge in Motion Controls applications.

  • Perform market intelligence related to business / technology trends and competition in the market.

  • Represent the Company in a professional and ethical manner.

  • Provide reports and business forecast accurately in timely manner.

  • Conduct quality visit planning and visit report independently to achieve adequate opportunity pipeline.

For this Role You Will Need:

  • A Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics /Mechatronics.

  • Minimum eight years of relevant experience in sales engineer / application engineer roles and/or proven successful track record in the selling of motion control system solutions.

  • Strong relationship builder with a strong desire to win against competition.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent organization skills and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • To be trustworthy and highly motivated self-starter.

  • To be a team player mentality and ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word Power Point and Excel.

  • To possess own car.

  • To travel to visit customers in other cities within assigned territory.
