Job Description & Summary:We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in designing developing andmaintainingtest automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in any major language (such as Java Python JavaScript C# etc.) and a solid understanding of software testing methodologies. You willbe responsible forbuilding scalable and maintainable automation solutions to improve software quality and accelerate delivery cycles.

Responsibilities:

MandatorySkill :Atleast1 yr experience in Playwright / Cypress /WebdriverIO/NightwatchJSand minimum 4 yrs overall automation experience.

Design develop andmaintainscalable test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver Playwright or similar tools.

Implement automated test scripts across different layers of the application (UI API backend).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers QA analysts and product owners to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive automation coverage.

Execute and analyze automated test results;identify report and track defects.

Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for faster and reliable release cycles.

Optimizeand improve existing automation frameworks to enhance performance and reliability.

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in test automation tools and technologies.

Help define test strategy and ensure adherence to best practices in automation.

Mentor junior team members reviewing their code andprovidingtechnical guidance.

Mandatory skill sets:

4 to 8 years of experience intest automation engineering.

Proficient in automation tools like Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright.

Strong programming skills in at least onelanguagesuch as Java Python JavaScript or C#.

Experience designing developing andmaintainingtest automation frameworks from scratch or improving existing ones.

Solid understanding of software testing lifecycle types of testing (functional regression integration) and Agilemethodology.

Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOps or similar.

Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git).

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred skill sets:

Experience with API automation testing using tools likeRestAssured Postman or similar.

Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

Exposure tocloud-based testing platforms and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).

Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber orSpecFlow.

Years of experience:

4 to 8 years of experience in test automation engineeringwithPlaywrightexposure.

Education qualification:

B.E. // MCA/M.E// MBA/ PGDM. All qualifications should be in regular full-time mode with no extension of course duration due to backlogs
