Senior Cost Analyst
Job Summary
What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in cost management earned value cash flows invoice management performance measurement and milestones & project auditing.
- Project Controls experience working on EPCM projects.
- Asset: Proficiency in EcoSys .
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Measurement (EVM ANSI EIA-748B) in engineering procurement & construction.
- Cost engineering experience as contained in AACE and PMI (PMBok) standard practices
- Strong knowledge of and the interrelationship of a good technical project scope definition quality of the schedule and estimate construction sequence and execution procurement and contracting strategies commissioning and start up.
- Capable of developing and maintaining control budget (TIC & Services) and forecast EPC scopes of work.
- Full understanding of cross-functional interfaces with engineering procurement materials & sub-contracts construction safety quality finance/accounting and document control.
- Capable of managing impact of change & trends CPI / SPI / MPI.
- Understanding of financial interface for expenditures revenue recognition invoicing cash flow / cash calls.
- Working knowledge of Risk Management systems and tools for costs and schedule.
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to influence mentorship skills and relationship building skills.
- Proven methodology development skills curriculum development and review skills as well as presentation and facilitation skills.
Education Qualifications Accreditation Training:
Required:
- A university degree or technical diploma in engineering or business.
Asset: Certification by PMI (PMP) and/or AACE or similar accredited project management institute.

Purpose:
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Control Cost Analyst. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Calgary Alberta.
Responsibilities:
- Development of monthly cost report and cost forecast.
- Set up and administration of monthly incurred cost flow.
- Setting of original budget.
- Ensure costs are tracked properly with appropriate use of WBS and CBS coding.
- Change management coordination.
- Administration and maintenance of Ecosys.
- Consolidation and development of month end cost and progress reporting.
