Job Summary
The Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking a Licensed Clinical Supervisor II that will be able to perform work under minimal supervision the incumbent is responsible for the daily supervision of clinical and case management services. Provides administrative/clinical supervision for staff; hires counsels supervises and evaluates staff. Monitors/Evaluates service delivery in accordance with established guidelines and principles. Identifies staff training needs and provides/arranges training as needed. Coordinates service delivery with other service areas. Provide support and education to clients families and community contacts. Participates in and conducts meetings. Serves as communication channel between staff and administration. Monitors unit budget. Develops unit operating procedures. Performs other work as required.
Essential Functions
- Manages the day to day clinical operations of the program to ensure client needs are met;
- Provides scheduled ongoing direct clinical supervision to clinical staff individually & in group formats;
- Trains supervises and evaluates clinical treatment staff;
- Meet with supervisees per RBHA and CRC / WM policies to provide clinical and administrative problem solving ethical and legal requirements of practice consultation and training;
- Provide direction and supervision to staff as they coordinate a comprehensive assessment and develop an individualized service plan for each client;
- Provides direct clinical assessment and clinical treatment and case management services to offenders with co-occurring disorders;
- Reviews client records both paper and electronic and holds supervisees accountable for maintaining compliance with documentation standards;
- Ensures compliance with grant related data gathering and documentation requirements;
- Responsible for providing training and supervision on grant related assessment instruments;
- Responsible for administration of grant related assessment instruments on clients as assigned;
- Participates in CRC / WM team staffing and other team activities including group sessions;
- Maintains current knowledge of diagnostic techniques counseling approaches service modalities used for client service delivery especially as they apply to substance abuse population with co- occurring disorders.
