Data Analyst Intern

As a Data Analyst Intern you are deeply curious about data and passionate about storytelling with a strong ability to identify trends and patterns using analytics tools and methodologies. You are comfortable presenting analytics-driven insights to diverse audiences and tailoring messages based on technical this role you will support growth and retention metrics across Docusign by improving data quality driving internal adoption and delivering high-impact analysis for stakeholders. You will build clear compelling data narratives that help understand opportunities and accelerate decision-making while collaborating closely with our Engineering and Product Teams to translate data needs into actionable insights.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the HRBP Director.

This is an internship role for 4 months of duration.

Responsibility

• Act as a data champion fostering a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement by identifying new opportunities to leverage data for business growth and operational excellence

• Leverage analytics and hands-on experience with AI tools to streamline data analysis automate reporting and accelerate business decision-making for HR and other stakeholders

• Learn and apply best practices for data analysis and AI-enabled automation

• Work with various stakeholders across HR organization Product Management Engineering UX Research to understand requirements and provide estimates for development/improvement

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Basic

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science or equivalent

• Fluency in English

• Experience with data analysis concepts and AI tools

Preferred

• Interest in AI and its applications in data science

• Curiosity and adaptability to learn new tools and workflows quickly and to improve them based on what you observe in practice

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset; comfortable asking questions sharing tradeoffs and incorporating feedback

• Passion for learning new software technologies and AI techniques and for sharing knowledge

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience.

Based on applicable legislation the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

Illinois Colorado Massachusetts and Minnesota: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

Washington Maryland New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

Washington DC: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

Ohio: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

Canada: CAD $X/hour - CAD $X/hour or CAD $X - CAD $X base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

• Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
• Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
