As part of thenewly developedhousing management programWSC seeks to hire 2Resident Coordinators for the 2026-27academic year.As a member of the Housing Office team the Resident Coordinatorserves as thefirst line of communication and support for residents of the WSC Student Village.This position is open to students (at leastcompleted oneyear)and spouseswho live in the Village. Preference will be given to those who meet the requirements and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsibilities related to resident support and community building.

• Assistresidents with conflict resolution when needed and whereappropriate.

• Conduct move-in and move-out inspectionsandadvisethe housing office of charges.

• Monitor maintenance requests inBuildiumto ensuretimelyresponse and to assess potential involvement.

• Coordinate Annual Apartment Condition Self Inspections where residents take photos anduploadtoBuildium.

• Reviewperiodicself-inspection photos andadviseresidents of any area where corrective action(s) is if necessary.

• Coordinatewith Facilities Manager toensureappropriate noticeto residents of all vendor repairs and inspections that require entry or interruption ofutilityservices.

• Security and incidentnotifications andreporting per the established processes.

• Document andreportany significantunusualor unpleasantinteractions with residentsand/or seminary personnel toHousingCommittee.

• Document violationsof housing policiesin theBuildiumsystem notify Housing Committeeand notify residents of corrective action(s).

• Shareafter-hourson-dutyshifts to respond to emergency calls (fire alarms floods trespassing etc.) and document occurrences.

• Meet withmembers of the Housing Team Committeeand/or Dean of Students as requested.

Requirements/expectationsfor Housing Coordinators.

• Demonstrate an active Christian faith.

• Musthave livedon campusfor at least one year.

• Must be available duringthe summer months especially for move-out inspections in June and move-in inspections in July. Vacations can be accommodated.

• If a WSC studentmustmaintainan average GPA of 3.0.

• Must be above reproachwith regard toWSC Behavioral Standards.

• Previousexperience as aproperty managerresident director/assistantor other similar leadership role preferred.

• Must be knowledgeable of the WSC Housing Policies and Procedures and be willing to address violations with fellow residents.

• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectivelywith a proven ability to be a peacemaker and/or help with conflict resolution.

• Must have an interest in and willingness to servein the following ways:

• • Serve ascommunity safetyofficer

• • Serveas professional steward of theproperty
