Derby Hospital Pathology Permanent Full Time
25038 per annum
37.5 hours per week- 8am - 11am on alternate Saturdays.
At Nuffield Health were looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and experience of working in a pathology or healthcare environment to join us. If you have strong numeracy communication and Microsoft Office skills our highly motivated and talented team will really value what you bring.
As a Medical Laboratory Assistant at our Derby Hospital youll show a commitment to excellent customer addition to your technical skills in pathology you also understand how to use laboratory information systems. Phlebotomy experience is ideal but not essential as we offer training in this area.
You may also be expected to cover our other site at Leicester which is frequently required thereforea full driving licence and access to transport is essential.
As a Medical Laboratory Assistant you will:
- Provide high-quality support to our talented Pathology team
- Be responsible for specimen administration
- Manage enquiry handling

The Nuffield Health DerbyHospital is a modern purpose-built hospital with 38 en-suite beds three operating theatres and together with a comprehensive range of outpatient services.
The Radiology department is a small but busy department covering general radiographic procedures theatre ultrasound MRI and CT. Set in beautiful grounds were about 3 miles from the city centre within easy reach of all major roads and bus routes.
