Establish and nurture trusted advisor relationships with key financial services clients focusing on comprehensive business relationships across front office operationsriskand technology functions.
Client focus centered on Financial Markets participants such as: Wholesale Capital Markets Corporate Cash Management Asset Management Wealth Management Treasury Trading Commodities Trading and Digital Assets.
Conducting and managing market research and quantitative and qualitative analyses including the synthesis of complex data into meaningful insights
Supporting delivery from project scoping to conclusion while consistently keeping the clients goals in mind
Communicating complex information effectively in written and verbal formats to various situations and audiences
Approaching new projects with an open mind
Demonstrating empathy for coworkers and customers
Learning from mistakes and asking for help when needed
Believing in the value created by diverse teams and can adapt to a variety of working styles

Understanding of capital markets industry globaltradingand capital markets products (bonds equities derivativesetc)
Hands on exposure to capital markets functions and administration of financial services businesses including sales and trading risk management (credit market and operational) compliancefundingand trading operations including confirmation settlement regulatory reporting reconciliation and exception processing
Functional knowledge of trading infrastructure and trading flows
Comprehensive knowledge of trade life cycles and position management
Well versed in Capital Market regulations (conduct trading clearing margin KYC privacy trade and transaction reporting) regulators (OSFICIRO CFTC SEC FCA etc.) as well as upcoming changes as part of the Financial Stability Board (FSB) work program and broader portfolio of work (ESG rate reformdigital assets culture)
Familiar with global trading and market infrastructures (execution venues clearing houses central settlement systemsetc)
Interest in emerging technologies and advanced analytics related to capital markets and asset management
Familiarity with technology concepts including architecture (e.g.business technical logical data) data strategy governance and management systems/applications (e.g.trade booking investment book of record collateral management risk management)
Working knowledge of common capital markets reference data types (entity counterparty product trade settlement etc.) and systems interactions including IT tools and technology
Self motivatedwith a passion for client work andteam work
Ability to multitask and manage ambiguity as you navigate changewiththe client
Excellent communication skills

The salary range for this position is $112400 - $162400.The posted salary rangerepresentsthe expected hiring range forPwC locations in major citycentres. Given our national recruiting approach ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada base salary isdeterminedby your skills experiencequalificationsand work location.In addition to base salary eligible employees may have opportunities toparticipatein variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.During the hiring process our Talent Acquisition team will provide details about our comprehensive total rewards package.
