About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong experience in Java and Spring Boot capable of contributing across the full software delivery lifecycle within a large-scale international banking environment.

The role combines backend development CI/CD cloud-native platforms observability database performance analysis and production support responsibilities within a highly collaborative engineering ecosystem.

This is a hands-on technical role with exposure to modern microservices architectures and cloud environments.

What youll do

• Design develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs

• Write and maintain automated test suites using Cucumber

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

• Collaborate with infrastructure and database teams to resolve performance bottlenecks

• Monitor applications and troubleshoot production issues using Dynatrace and Kibana

• Create and present release implementation plans to technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation shared across the team

What were looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Java

  • Spring Boot

  • REST APIs

  • Microservices architectures

• Experience working with:

  • Kubernetes

  • AWS EKS and/or OpenShift

• Experience with:

  • Cucumber

  • automated testing

  • CI/CD pipelines

  • GitHub Actions

• Solid knowledge of:

  • relational databases

  • SQL performance analysis

  • query optimization

• Experience using:

  • Dynatrace

  • Kibana

  • observability/monitoring tools

• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experience preparing and presenting implementation/release plans

• English level C1 or higher mandatory

• Spanish fluent/native level or equivalent

Nice to have

• Experience in banking or high-transaction environments

• Experience supporting production systems and incident resolution

• Experience working in distributed agile teams

• Hybrid model available in:

  • Madrid

  • Barcelona

  • Málaga

  • Logroño

• Remote from other locations within Spain

This role includes participation in a 24x7 on-call support rotation shared across a team of 5 members.
