Core Responsibilities

1. Exemplary Instruction: Delivering high-challenge Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with significant opportunities for A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics for suitably qualified candidates.

2. Mathematical Fluency: Ensuring students master fundamental and advanced operations including algebraic manipulation geometric reasoning and complex problem-solving.

3. Analytical Leadership: Cultivating students ability to apply mathematical models to real-world scenarios fostering the resilience and critical thinking necessary for higher education.

4. Data-Driven Progress: Utilising the academys robust assessment framework to provide granular feedback ensuring students are equipped to meet the rigorous demands of GCSE and A-Level specifications.

5. STEM Integration: Collaborating with Science and Computer Science departments to demonstrate the vital cross-curricular applications of mathematics in regional research and global industry.

The Successful Candidate We are looking for a subject authority who believes that mathematical competence is the primary gateway to professional and intellectual success. Requirements include:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong honours degree in Mathematics Statistics or a related quantitative discipline.

• Proven Track Record: Evidence of delivering exceptional learning outcomes at GCSE and A-Level with a deep understanding of AQA Edexcel or OCR assessment objectives.

• Instructional Precision: The ability to demystify abstract conceptssuch as calculus trigonometry and probabilitymaking them tangible and engaging for all students.
