Job Description:
Goal: Deliver reliable compliant payment and card-processing software through rigorous manual and automated testing across functional regression performance and security domains.
THE MOST RELEVANT SKILL
Payments and Cards Domain Testing - Deep understanding of payment flows switches and simulators to validate end to end transactions reversals settlements and failure scenarios.
SCOPE
Design execute and maintain test plans test cases and test data for payment/card systems.
Perform manual and automated functional regression performance and security testing.
Identify document prioritize and track defects with clear reproduction steps and evidence.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and improve testability.
Build and maintain automated test suites and performance test scripts.
Report test results risks and quality metrics to stakeholders; maintain QA documentation.
MUST-HAVES (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
Payments and/or Cards Industry Domain Knowledge - Validate authorization clearing settlement reversals chargebacks and ISO-style message flows.
Test Planning and Execution - Create comprehensive test plans/cases mapped to requirements; ensure coverage and traceability.
Defect Management - Log track and retest defects using standard QA processes and tools (not specified).
Test Automation - Build and maintain automated tests using Selenium with JUnit or TestNG; design reusable scripts.
Performance Testing - Design and execute load/stress tests using tools such as LoadRunner or equivalent.
Manual and Automated Testing - Demonstrated ability to balance exploratory/manual testing with automation.
QA Tools and Processes - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies metrics and release gates.
Agile/DevOps Collaboration - Work within Agile teams; integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines (tools not specified).
Communication - Produce clear test reports and communicate risks/issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
