Scope of Project
Alleghany County VA is seeking a QA/Test Engineer for the Website Redesign & ADA Compliance Project. This is not a regular staffing opportunity rather a project to be delivered. Duration is anticipated to be 4 months as the project will be delivered onsite at Alleghany County Administrators Office Covington VA.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans
- Validate content migration accuracy and completeness
- Verify SEO elements including redirects and URL integrity
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing
- Perform accessibility validation in coordination with Accessibility Specialist
- Support post-launch testing during 30 90 day stabilization period
- Track and manage defects through resolution
Required/Preferred Skills:
- 5 years of QA/testing experience in web applications
- Experience with accessibility and SEO validation
- Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
