Job Summary
Job Title: Maintenance Team Leader
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Location: Davenport IA 52809
Duration: 24 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)
Shift:
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
3rd Shift: 9:30 PM 6:00 AM
Occasional OT as needed
Description:
Supervise maintenance production and warehouse employees on assigned shift
Lead skilled trades teams including electricians pipefitters and mechanics
Ensure safety quality productivity and cost targets are achieved
Support preventive maintenance programs and maintenance audits
Assign work schedules and monitor team performance
Troubleshoot complex equipment and support emergency repairs
Optimize maintenance processes and improve operational efficiency
Support health safety and environmental compliance initiatives
Prepare operational reports and support data analysis activities
Act as liaison between shop floor employees and management
Required Skills:
SAP experience
Maintenance leadership and workflow management
Preventive maintenance program experience
Troubleshooting and technical support skills
Strong communication and organizational abilities
Safety and compliance knowledge
Team leadership and performance management skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience in union manufacturing environments
Engineering background preferred
Experience leading skilled trades teams
Strong maintenance safety culture experience
Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred
Work Experience:
Experience supervising maintenance operations in manufacturing environments
Experience supporting preventive maintenance and maintenance audits
Experience working with union skilled trades teams
