Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor
1st Shift 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday On Call Required
Main Duties & Responsibilities
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and participate in daily maintenance operations at the Lavonia GA facility including executing preventative maintenance schedules troubleshooting equipment malfunctions supervising maintenance technicians and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role involves close collaboration with the Multisite Operational Excellence Manager to implement maintenance strategies and optimize equipment performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute preventative maintenance schedules and work orders.
Education:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Associates in a related field
Experience:
Required: 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Preferred: 2 years of supervisory experience
Hard Skills:
Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred: HVAC certification Electrical certification
Other Requirements:
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Background check
Full-time 40 hours per week

- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
- Supervise and lead maintenance technicians on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in the MaintainX.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with the NA Operations Manager to optimize equipment performance.
- Order parts and maintain inventory.
- Ensure proper functionality of all building systems.
- Assist in training new maintenance personnel.
Education:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Associates in a related field
Experience:
Required: 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Preferred: 2 years of supervisory experience
Hard Skills:
Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of PLCs and VFDs
- Knowledge of HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is Required
Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Working in a collaborative environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems
- Understanding of safety and environmental regulations
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment
Preferred: HVAC certification Electrical certification
Other Requirements:

- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks including lifting and climbing
