Role: SAP S/4HANA MM Techno-Functional Consultant (W2 Position)

Location: Dearborn MI (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months

We are looking for a strong techno-functional SAP consultant to support a large-scale transformation from legacy mainframe systems to SAP S/4HANA.

The project is currently midway through implementation:

• 3 markets already launched
• 3 additional markets still to go

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of:

• Product/application support
• Functional analysis
• Specification/documentation creation
• Process improvement work
• Supporting SAP enhancements and configuration

The team needs someone who can operate on both the functional and technical sides - helping support what is already live while also contributing to upcoming implementations.

Key Requirements

• 7 years of IT experience
• Strong SAP S/4HANA experience
• SAP MM (Materials Management) expertise is required and used daily
• ABAP knowledge/understanding is required
• Experience working in a techno-functional environment
• Ability to support SAP configuration and understand how developers work
• Experience supporting process improvements and ongoing enhancements
• Strong communication skills are essential
• Comfortable working with global stakeholders and supporting global teams
• Important Notes
• This is not a hands-on development role
• No active coding/development is required

The person should understand custom SAP development support developers and work alongside technical teams but will not be expected to perform core development work

Nice to Have

• SAP Ariba experience
• Used as the supplier-facing front-end
• Experience supporting procurement/purchasing operations
• Team supports buyers and parts purchasing
• Not focused on finance/accounting

Candidate Profile

• Looking for someone hands-on and execution-focused
• Not seeking a very senior 20 year strategic lead profile
• Leadership structure is already in place
• Ideal candidate is willing to contribute to day-to-day support implementation activities and ongoing improvements

Work Environment

• 4 days onsite
• Strong preference for local candidates
• Relocation may be considered though there is some associated risk
