Physical Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a quick-start contract opportunity in Hawaii. This role includes a combination of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services in a rural healthcare setting requiring strong clinical independence and comprehensive patient care skills.

The Physical Therapist will provide evaluations and treatment plans across multiple care settings including:

• Acute care
• ICU
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
• Med/Surg
• Observation units
• Outpatient rehabilitation clinic
• Occasional OB support

The caseload consists of approximately 25% inpatient and 75% outpatient services. Therapists should be comfortable managing mobility progression discharge planning and a wide range of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses.

• Perform comprehensive PT evaluations and treatments
• Develop individualized care plans
• Provide patient and family education
• Support discharge planning and mobility progression
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Manage a mixed inpatient and outpatient schedule efficiently

• Monday Friday
• Day shifts
• Flexibility in work hours may be required
• Saturday availability is mandatory

• Approximately 5 15 patients per day
• Treatment sessions every 30 45 minutes
• New evaluations scheduled for one hour

• Active Physical Therapist license
• Hawaii PT license required upon assignment acceptance
• Minimum of 2 years of Physical Therapy experience
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• Experience in acute care and outpatient settings preferred
• Ability to work independently in a rural healthcare environment
