Occupational Therapist
Location: Carbondale IL
Pay Rate: $40.00 $43.00/hr
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 2 years
About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract in Carbondale IL. This is an inpatient therapy role with floating required between Herrin Memorial Hospital of Carbondale and St. Josephs as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in an inpatient setting
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Support patients with functional mobility activities of daily living and independence
- Collaborate with rehabilitation teams nursing staff and providers
- Document patient care and progress accurately in EPIC
- Float between assigned facilities as needed
- Support safe effective and patient-centered therapy care
Requirements
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license required
- Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapist experience required
- Inpatient occupational therapy experience preferred
- EPIC experience preferred
- Ability to work 4x10-hour shifts
- Must be flexible to work weekday and weekend shifts
- Must be willing to float between Herrin MHC and St. Josephs
