About the Role
We are hiring a Paramedic for a contract opportunity with Cherokee Nation. This role is a great fit for an experienced emergency medical professional who can provide high-quality patient care respond quickly in urgent situations and support clinical teams with professionalism and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care and patient support
- Assess patient conditions and respond appropriately to medical needs
- Perform basic and advanced life support procedures within scope of practice
- Monitor vital signs and patient response during care
- Assist with patient transport and emergency response needs
- Communicate clearly with healthcare providers patients and team members
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and services provided
- Follow safety infection control and clinical protocols
Requirements
- Active Paramedic certification/license required
- Paramedic experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- PALS certification preferred
- Strong emergency response and patient assessment skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong communication documentation and teamwork skills
