The RF Integration Engineer will be a key member of our team assisting with the bring-up simulation integration and validation of innovative antenna and radio designs. This role involves testing wireless/RF subsystem performance against high-quality design metrics automating test equipment to improve cycle efficiency and presenting findings to cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with the bring-up simulation and validation of RF/antenna designs.
Testing wireless/RF subsystem performance against predefined quality metrics.
Automating test equipment to enhance test cycle efficiency.
Producing test reports and presenting findings.
Collaborating with HW/SW Engineering Product Management and Supply Chain teams.
Required Qualifications
Education: BSEE (MSEE preferred) with 3 years of experience in HW product development and testing.
Automation/Software: Proficiency in Python C MATLAB and/or LabVIEW.
Lab Experience: Hands-on experience with microwave/measurement equipment (Network/Spectrum Analyzers Power Meters Vector Signal Analyzers/Generators traffic generators and wireless sniffers).
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with wireless architectures (radio front ends antennas amplifiers RF switches filters couplers fromMHz) and wireless networking (path loss/channel models traffic generation).
Design Tools: Willingness to learn or prior experience with simulation tools (ADS CST HFSS) and schematic/layout tools (e.g. Cadence).
Hardware: Knowledge of digital/analog electronics and product development lifecycles.
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of wireless technologies (WLAN BT/BLE LTE 5G FR1 WPAN).
Experience writing test plans and assisting with global certification processes.
Experience working with cross-functional groups (Radio Compliance HW design).
Ability to perform component rework (e.g. 0402 SMT) and use soldering stations.
Ability to navigate and manipulate ECAD (PCB/Layout) and MCAD (.stp) files.
