What You Will Do:
Create develop and manage pipeline construction governance standards for Canada and the U.S.
Offer expert guidance and technical support to project teams on pipeline installation methodologies welding NDT and pressure testing.
Participate in project health checks to ensure compliance with Company standards and industry regulations.
Collaborate with project teams to promote best practices and continuous improvement in pipeline construction methods.
Collaborate with project managers engineers and contractors to drive project success and compliance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant US and Canadian codes standards and safety regulations.
Support the implementation and use of a digital project delivery tool with a particular focus on the traceability of welding NDT pipeline material and inspection daily reporting processes.
Who You Are:
A bachelors degree in construction management engineering or a closely related field is preferred; however equivalent combinations of post-secondary education diplomas and relevant experience will also be considered.
A minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience supporting capital projects in pipeline construction welding and inspection.
At least 3 years experience developing and maintaining governance documentation procedures standards and training materials is necessary.
In-depth knowledge of pipeline construction welding processes inspection methods and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
Strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements in both the United States (e.g. PHMSA) and Canada (CER).
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and to exert influence without direct authority.
Exceptional communication presentation and organizational skills are required.
Demonstrated expertise in applicable pipeline construction codes and standards such as CSA Z662 API 1104 ASME B31.4 and B31.8.
Experience participating in audits and implementing quality assurance programs in compliance with company and industry standards.
Experience with digital project delivery platforms and daily reporting systems for construction welding and inspection activities.
Working Conditions:
Approximately 90% Office Environment-vs-10 % in a field home office or operating facility and outside operations in all types of weather.
Air travel within Canada and US occasional local travel driving rental vehicle (10-20%).
Often multiple competing priorities.
Occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); fumes or airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment may be above 90 dBA.
Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping kneeling light moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds) reaching above shoulder repetitive motion typing sitting standing visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Salary:
Ranges from $100000 $150000 USD for US locations based upon candidates experience skills and internal equity.
Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
