Role

Responsible for the Operation of Multi-Vac Sealing Machine or other Specialized Production Machine handling while maintaining all applicable Food Safety and Quality standards. This Role takes the lead of the shift and ensuring the operation is set up for success for the day as well as planning ahead for other Machine operator Shifts.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILIES

• Operates maintains and cleans Multi-Vac sealing machine.
• Seals prepared meals according to production schedule safety and quality standards
• Collaborates with other team members to maintain efficiencies in production
• Transports crates of sealed food product to packing areas.
• Communicates with decanting/production team when supplies are needed.
• Covers labels dates and stores unsealed meals at end of shift.
• Ensures to follow proper food dating and rotating standards with finished and unfinished product
• Performs other duties as directed by management
• Leads the planning and coordination related to operating machine and collaboration with packing and other teams

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to stand for full shift while working
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment
• Able to work with Safety Footwear
• Able to use proper safety precautions and techniques when lifting bending and performing physical task.
• Ability to work well with a team in collaboration and assembly line coordination.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Previous comparable experience working with machinery.
• Food production experience preferred.
