Description of the Position:

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team whose responsibility is to be the conduit of information and donor support to and from the Hospital for Sick Children.

The Senior Analyst Granting and Hospital Relations is responsible for developing strategies and identifying opportunities to maximize the impact of donor gifts through designated addition this position is responsible for communicating to the Hospital for Sick Children and other partners what funds are available for granting in support of their priorities. This position reports to the Associate Director Granting and Hospital Relations.

You will:
  • Use a donor stewardship approach to develop lead and monitor annual granting strategies for your portfolio which support the strategies of the Granting & Hospital Relations Team to ensure the restricted fund grants budget is achieved is aligned with Hospital priorities and demonstrates donor impact.
  • Develop and support detailed grant plans and analyses communicating pertinent details to stakeholders in a timely and accessible manner which fosters engagement and promotes regular draws on funds available.
  • Monitor granting activity diagnose and recommend corrective action to external/internal teams.
  • Develop strong relationships with Hospital Chiefs Directors physicians and support staff to ensure granting strategies are implemented and translated to their business needs.
  • Actively conduct educational outreach to Hospital staff and Foundation colleagues.
  • Support the development and implementation of system tools to create efficiencies or enhancements to improve the operations of the Granting & Hospital Relations Team.
  • Produce or contribute to analytics on key performance indicators and metrics to identify granting trends and measure the Teams success.
  • Research and respond to information inquiries related to restricted fund granting.
  • Provide additional analysis and back-up support to the Granting & Hospital Relations Team.
  • Create tailor-made financial models.
  • Collaborate with external teams and other internal stakeholders.
  • Various other duties as appropriate.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years donor stewardship/granting experience in the not-for-profit or hospital sector.
  • Advanced financial and analytical skills.
  • Excellent client-oriented service background.
  • Proficient and advanced skills in Excel Word and CRM.
  • Strong project management skills and well-developed organizational skills.
  • Well-developed persuasion and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail accuracy and functionality.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and an ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and working with highly sensitive information.

Total Compensation Package:

Hiring Salary Range: $82 064.00 $102582.00; with the ability to progress to a maximum of $117971.00 To ensure fair and equitable pay at SickKids Foundation placement on the salaryrange will be based on your years of experience skills and qualifications relevant to the Sr. Analyst Granting & Hospital Relations.
