As a Senior Manager of Procurement/Sourcing you will develop complex global category strategies and guide cross-functional teams to optimize spend enhance supplier relationships and deliver continuous improvement. You will make meaningful contributions to enabling customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer.
This role offers the opportunity to create significant business impact through strategic sourcing initiatives while growing within an innovative organization committed to integrity intensity involvement and innovation.
A Day in the Life:
You will develop and execute multi-year sourcing strategies negotiate global agreements and build strong partnerships across the organization. You will also mentor procurement professionals and lead initiatives that drive value creation across the business.

Development of complex global category strategies
Leadership of cross-functional sourcing initiatives
Negotiation of global supplier agreements
Strengthening supplier relationships and performance
Mentoring and development of procurement team members
Driving continuous improvement and cost optimization
Collaboration with global stakeholders across functions
Supporting procurement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Education/Experience
Advanced degree plus 6 years of experience OR
Bachelors degree plus 8 years of experience in procurement/sourcing in large matrix organizations
Preferred fields of study: Natural Science Engineering Business Supply Chain or related field
Professional certifications preferred (CPSM CPIM PMP or equivalent)
2 years of people management experience including coaching and development
International or multi-cultural work experience preferred
Knowledge Skills Abilities
Strong strategic CDMO business understanding and value chain knowledge
Proven ability to research develop and execute multi-year strategies
Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
Strong negotiation analytical and presentation skills
Executive-level communication abilities
Expertise in supplier and client relationship management
Experience in contract development and business risk analysis
Ability to anticipate risk apply scenario thinking and implement mitigation strategies
Proficiency with e-tools spend analytics and procurement/ERP systems
Strong project management skills leading complex initiatives
Ability to make decisions with incomplete information
Strong business acumen including P&L and financial planning understanding
