Were looking for motivated and reliable General Operators to join our team at Balmoral Tanks in Thurnscoe for a 6-month contract.

This is a hands-on factory-based role where youll play a key part in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards while working safely and efficiently to support production targets. Youll be part of a team that takes pride in delivering right first time and maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

What youll be doing

1. Working safely at all times in line with company policies and procedures
2. Supporting production schedules to meet dispatch targets
3. Operating equipment such as grinding tools and lifting machinery
4. Loading and unloading materials and supporting general factory operations
5. Inspecting goods to ensure quality accuracy and condition meet specifications
6. Maintaining a clean safe and organised working environment
7. Wearing appropriate PPE at all times
8. Working collaboratively with colleagues across production and other departments
9. Completing training and contributing to your own development
10. Carrying out general labouring duties as required

What were looking for

1. Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment (desirable)
2. A strong team player with a positive can-do attitude
3. Good communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative
4. A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
5. Someone who is flexible reliable and willing to learn
6. A proactive approach to safety and following procedures
