Warehouse Manager, Guam J311

Technica is seeking to hire a Warehouse Manager to support the DLA Distribution Center in Guam.

Duties:

• Manages the storage and distribution operations.
• Ensures all Acceptable Performance Levels (APL) for warehouse operations are met or exceeded while maintaining cost control of labor.
• Directs employees engaged in receiving storing issue shipment and distribution of a variety of bin and bulk materials equipment and commodities using automated and manual material moving equipment devices and systems.
• Manages employees to include hiring onboarding training and ensuring timekeeping policies are adhered to.
• Plans the use of subordinate workers equipment facilities and materials based on projected workload on a weekly or monthly basis.
• Establishes deadlines priorities and work sequences IAW general work schedules methods and policies established by the Site Manager and/or Alternate Site Manager.
• Redirects workers and resources to accommodate daily workload fluctuations and to accomplish unanticipated work.
• Conducts planning of current and future work schedules providing workload data estimates information on staffing needs and recommendations as to the scheduling of projected work.
• Ensures work is performed properly and efficiently IAW the terms and condition of the contract.
• Ensures the warehousing workspaces remain clean and safe.
• Uses WMS and other Government Data Systems to perform the requirements in the PWS.

Experience Desired:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in distribution and warehousing using WMS or equivalent automated system within the past five (5) years.

Basic Employment Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid drivers license
• Must be on-site during the performance of the task order and must possess the basic knowledge and skills required to plan control manage and be responsible for the successful completion of the project and shall be qualified to be the Contractors on-site supervisor and POC for government representatives.
• Capability to adjust work operations to meet emergency or changing Task Order or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice to quantity and quality of work.
• Ability to establish project objectives or performance goals and assess progress.
• Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop timely and economical solutions.
• Must have the ability to provide information and reports resolve issues and recommend actions to improve the delivery of services to the customers.
• Must be able to stand sit or walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work flexible shift hours (may vary as needed).

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.

Required Experience:
