The Position: We are looking for a Business Operations Specialist Senior who will be providing support to BSO-11 (Budget Submitting Office) Business Offices.

Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $105000 - $120000 annually based upon an individuals level of experience skillset and education. The Description:

The successful candidate will work with BSO-11 clients to:

• Examine/develop processes to support the accounting department to include new processes of Navy ERP.
• Participate in working groups related to G-Invoicing Budget Execution Valuation (BEV) FERMC (UMT AP AR IGTs and Tie-Points).
• Update and maintain standard operating procedures and policies.
• Perform data analysis related to funding month end close year-end close.
• Perform compilation and review of field level journal vouchers.
• Review and reconcile monthly treasury reports when compared to the general ledger.
• Understand the behavior and functionality of various general ledger accounts.
• Review and analyze trial balances for pre-close and post-close analysis.
• Review and research unmatched transactions.
• Support other accounting duties as needed.

Education & Experience:

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Three (3) to Ten (10) years of relatable experience.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting Business Administration or equivalent degree.
  • ALLOWABLE SUBSITIUTIONS: Associates degree with eight (8) years of experience
  • 24 hours of collegiate accounting courses
• Accounting audit and/or Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) experience
• Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) experience
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills to include performing financial analysis
• Self-Driven and efficient
• Detailed Oriented
• Analytical Skills
• Good Communication Skills
• Works well on team projects

Travel:

• On some occasions the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work rare occasions travel may be required.
