Job Summary

Role: Senior Business & Sales Manager

Location: Fort Lauderdale (in-person)

Salary: Competitive

We are seeking a commercially driven and highly motivated Senior Business & Sales Manager to lead and scale our U.S. commercial function. This is a leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth managing and developing the Business Development team strengthening strategic partnerships and ensuring a high-performing sales culture across the business.

Senior Business & Sales Manager the role

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead manage mentor and develop the U.S. Business Development team including BDOs and BDAs.

  • Provide clear direction structure and accountability across all sales activities and KPIs.

  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings coaching sessions performance reviews and development planning.

  • Support recruitment onboarding and training of new team members.

  • Foster a positive collaborative and high-performance culture focused on growth and continuous improvement.

  • Work closely with the Head of Client Success & Partnerships to ensure alignment between sales and client retention strategies.

Revenue Growth & Commercial Performance

  • Drive new business revenue growth across all service lines.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to improve conversion rates outbound activity and overall pipeline performance.

  • Support and oversee negotiations proposals and commercial discussions for high-value opportunities.

  • Identify opportunities for upselling cross-selling and expansion within existing client relationships.

  • Ensure monthly quarterly and annual revenue targets are achieved.

  • Maintain oversight of pipeline forecasting sales reporting and commercial analytics.

Sales Operations & Process Improvement

  • Ensure CRM systems reporting tools and sales databases are maintained accurately and consistently.

  • Improve sales processes lead management workflows and operational efficiencies across the department.

  • Collaborate with Finance Compliance Operations and Marketing teams to improve client experience and internal effectiveness.

  • Assist in the development of outbound sales initiatives lead revival campaigns and strategic growth projects.

  • Monitor KPIs and reporting metrics to identify trends opportunities and areas for improvement.

Partnerships Events & Brand Representation

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with partners service providers and key stakeholders.

  • Represent the business at industry conferences networking events webinars podcasts and ecommerce events.

  • Support partnership initiatives and referral opportunities to drive business growth.

  • Work closely with Marketing on campaigns outreach strategies and sales enablement materials.

  • Act as a strong ambassador for the company within the ecommerce compliance and international expansion sectors.

Client & Commercial Oversight

  • Support the management of key client relationships and assist with escalations where required.

  • Ensure a consistently high standard of customer engagement and commercial professionalism across the team.

  • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and contribute to wider strategic growth initiatives.

  • Provide regular reporting and performance updates to senior leadership.

  • Support the development of scalable sales structures processes and long-term commercial strategy.

Senior Business & Sales Manager the person
Essential

  • Proven experience in sales management business development or commercial leadership roles.

  • Strong experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams.

  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving commercial targets.

  • Strong background in direct sales pipeline management and customer relationship management.

  • Excellent leadership communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.

  • Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong CRM reporting and sales forecasting experience.

  • Ability to motivate teams drive accountability and improve performance.

Desirable

  • Experience within ecommerce compliance SaaS fintech tax logistics or professional services environments.

  • Experience working within international expansion or cross-border commerce sectors.

  • Exposure to partnerships channel sales or affiliate growth strategies.
