Role Description

This position contributes to the day-to-day success of Goulburn Options through the management leadership and delivery of the Programs and Community team with management responsibilities and direct reporting to the Services Manager.

Leading by example to provide day-to-day coaching support and direction to foster and develop an engaged and effective teamwhilst providingdaily coordination of participants with disabilitiesin programs & services thatoperateat our day service site and in the community.

Programs and Community has undergone significant growth reform and modelling and will continue to be assessed asadditionalgrowth or evolution of support models arise to ensure itremainsfinancially and operationallyviableand sustainable. This positionis responsible forleading the continued assessmentreformand responsiveness of the service at a team-level.

The Team Leader contributes to the success of Goulburn Options with the delivery of Strategic Directions through effective leadership participant-focused service provision team development operational and service excellence and sound financial oversight and planning.

The Team Leaderis responsible fordelivering necessary changes to meet the long-term needs of all stakeholders and developing a high-functioning team.

The Team Leader has overall responsibility for the delivery of the Programs and Community Services program in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

Key responsibilities

Leadership and team management

• Lead support and mentor the Program & Community Team
• Manage rostersworkloadsand day to day team operations
• Foster acollaborative high performing andvalues basedteam culture.
• Support staff developmentsupervisionand performance conversations

Quality and compliance

• Ensure adhere to policies and procedures
• Participate in quality improvementaccreditationand audit activities
• Manage and respond to incidents and risk reporting requirements

About you

To be successful in this role you will bring:

• Tertiary qualification relevant to Disability Service
• Demonstratedexperience in NDIS disability service provision e.g. provision of programs that are centre or community based.
• Demonstratedexperience in a leadership position (at least 3 years)
• Demonstratedexperience in managing monthly and annual service budgets
• Understanding of quality improvement frameworks
• Strong communicationand interpersonal skills
