Welcome to the Payroll team

Our Payroll team is a close-knit group of nine colleagues including payroll consultants a process advisor and system specialists all based in Hørsholm. We are responsible for every aspect of payroll from end-to-end execution to advising on employment queries. Working flexibly in a hybrid setup we are currently navigating a merger and integrating two distinct payroll systems. As a vital part of Novonesis success we ensure that everyone is paid correctly and on time supporting our colleagues in Denmark.

In this role youll make an impact

You will be instrumental in executing and continuously refining our payroll operations focusing on accuracy compliance and efficiency. Your efforts will help harmonize payroll practices as we bring together two established setups following the recent merger. By driving digitalization and workflow optimization you will make payroll simpler and more effective for everyone. Your role will span operational tactical and strategic levels with a particular focus on uniting and strengthening our Danish payroll framework.

In addition some of your key tasks will include:

• Be part of the P&O Denmark Leadership team with 5 other talented and fun peers.
• Leadership setting the direction and overseeing the harmonization plans.
• Overall responsibility for running accurate end-to-end payroll processes on a daily monthly and yearly basis for around 5000 colleagues in Denmark.
• Overseeing reimbursements and managing the vacation cycle.
• Ensuring compliance and preparing for audits.
• Harmonizing payroll practices post-merger.
• Leading the optimization and digitalization of payroll processes.

You will collaborate closely with Finance and regional People & Organisation colleagues across Europe MEIA APAC LATAM and North America. Together you will align ways of working and support a cohesive payroll setup all while benefiting from a flexible hybrid work environment that values a healthy worklife balance.

We expect you to bring

• Several years of experience as a Leader with hands-on responsibility for end-to-end payroll operations and people/task ownership.
• Proven leadership skills and strong expertise in payroll.
• A solid understanding of digitalization and process optimization.
• Experience with structured ways of working and balancing accuracy compliance and improvement.
• Fluency in Danish and English both written and spoken.

Additionally we expect you to demonstrate strong stakeholder management abilities and a thorough understanding of payroll processes. Your structured approach to execution and optimization will be essential as will your capacity to support the integration of new systems and practices.

Your ability to work collaboratively and reliably will help you navigate complex situations and keep things moving forward. Curiosity a positive outlook and a knack for building trust are highly valued especially as we embrace change and new opportunities together.
