We are seeking a skilled Fitters & Welders with Flux/Solid Core experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. This role involves working on various construction and manufacturing projects ensuring high-quality standards in welding and assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks on various materials according to specifications
• Perform MIG TIG FCAW and stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within deadlines.
• Assist in preparing materials for welding
• Read and interpret blueprints schematics and ASME codes & standards to determine project specifications.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals
• Utilize hand tools power tools and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition
• Conduct rigging operations safely while moving materials or components using cranes or forklifts.
• Support quality control efforts by inspecting completed welds

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction site environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG TIG FCAW and stick welding.
• Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes.
• Experience with ductwork assembly and pipe threading is a plus.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are essential.
• Previous exposure to machining soldering and operating power tools will be beneficial.
