We are seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient practice at the Psychiatric Institute of Washington in Washington DC. • Patient Volume: Outpatient adult mental health and addiction patients
• Location: Washington DC
• Practice Setting: Outpatient mental health clinic
• Support / Care Team: Collaborative multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists therapists and support staff
• EMR / Technology: Electronic Medical Records system in use

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient mental health care to adult patients with various psychiatric and addiction disorders
• Administer medication management psychotherapy and other evidence-based treatments
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
• Work collaboratively with physicians therapists and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EMR

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $140000 - $155000

Qualifications

• Board Certified / Board Eligible Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• 3-5 years of experience as a PMHNP
• Active or eligible Washington DC nurse practitioner license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
