RN Team Lead
- This RN Team Lead position will be working at our Free Standing Emergency Department at Mount Carmel Lewis Center. The position is full-time days - will be working two 12-hour shifts per week from 7am - 7:30pm working on the unit with every third weekend and holiday rotation. Will also be working two 8-hour shifts per week doing administrative support.

Position Purpose:
In accordance with the Mission Core Values and Vision the RN Team Lead will coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality outcomes for patient care in assigned areas.
What you will do:
Monitors patient flow in and out of the unit. Maintains continued throughput by supporting and evaluating unit based processes.
Delegates patient care assignments according to skill level of caregiver and acuity of patient. Assures patient load is equally distributed to ensure quality patient care and appropriate use of staff.
Ensures staff has necessary equipment and supplies to provide safe quality patient care.
Assigns directs educates and monitors nursing and support staff during assigned shift.
Assess and participate in staff onboarding competency completion and unit based education implementation and tracking for completion.
Assess the physical and psychological status of patients provides interventions/treatments and evaluates effectiveness of care to achieve desired patient outcomes.
Assists with patient care.
Assists with review of policies and procedures.
Assists with special projects.
Assists with department Performance Improvement plans and implements interventions to achieve outcome metrics.
Gives feedback to department leader on colleague performance.
Customer service leader in the department.
Resource for clinical information.
Models professional behavior display teamwork throughout the department and model guiding behaviors and core values.
Maintains confidentiality in all situations involving Mount Carmel Health Systems customers and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
Effective Communication Skills
BLS healthcare provider training required
