Business Development Representative (Part-Time)
MAGNET: The Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network is seeking a part-time Business Development Representative to help connect Northeast Ohio manufacturers with our consulting services focused on growth operations and innovation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys starting conversations building relationships and learning about local businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Reconnect with past clients and existing contacts
- Conduct outbound outreach to prospective manufacturing clients via email and LinkedIn with follow-up phone calls
- Educate local manufacturers on MAGNETs full suite of consulting services
- Identify potential business challenges and areas of need
- Schedule meetings for MAGNETs business development directors
- Maintain accurate records in CRM
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls
- Organized and dependable
- Willingness to learn and be coached
Details:
- Part-time (approx. 20 hours/week)
- Flexible schedule during normal business hours
- Hybrid Northeast Ohio preferred
Compensation:
- Hourly pay range is $22-$30/hour based on experience and qualifications
- Quarterly performance-based bonuses also available
