The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.

Description

KLA RAPID Divisionis seeking a highly motivated individual with strong foundation in C programming and interest in data analysis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate good problemsolving and debugging skills and will work on multithreaded and multiprocess programming environments. Experience with AI-assisted (agentic) development methodologies or hands-on working experience with machine learning (ML) is a strong plus.

In this role you will develop inspection and data analysis software for advanced mask inspection systems. You will work closely with experienced software engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teamsincluding electrical mechanical optical algorithm and software teamsto gain domain knowledge and help solve systemlevel challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop inspection software and data analytics solutions for advanced mask inspection systems.

• Collaborate with crossfunctional engineering teams to define and implement system requirements.

• Optimize and maintain existing codebases to ensure performance scalability and reliability.

• Provide support during betasite rampup and handle escalations from customer sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience in C programming objectoriented design and design patterns.

• Strong background in data analysis including statistical summaries and predictive modeling.

• Proficiency in Linuxbased development environments.

• Strong leadership qualities teamwork skills and motivation for team success.

• AI/ML experience with largedataset model development is a plus.

• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and workflows.

• Familiarity with frontend development stacks such as Qt or other modern UI frameworks (Electron Gtk).

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker Singularity) for packaging software services.

Minimum Qualifications

Masters Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelors Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
