ABOUT THE ROLE

The T120 Program helps young people make positive changes in their lives by working collaboratively with their families and local organisations. It provides targeted support to help participants strengthen their skills build resilience and improve their overall wellbeing.

The Team Leader will work in partnership with the Target 120 Team (Carnarvon) guiding and leading the Family Support Worker and Youth Support Worker. The Team Leader will engage and support families in home or community to explore and understand family needs and aspirations through the development of the Integrated Family and Individual Support Plans.

The Team Leader will take a lead role in establishing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships and delivery of program deliverables and/or outcomes as per Grant Agreement within nominated timeframes.

DUTIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Coordinate and Lead Target 120 program and team to achieve program deliverables.
2. Connect and build collaborative relationships with key community stakeholders and families.
3. Lead Case Management of Young People and Families alongside Target 120 team.
4. Lead and Coordinate Local Interagency Group Meetings with key stakeholders.
5. Assist in preparing operational budget in consultation with Senior Coordinator Community Programs.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will be highly organised and have strong communication skills together with the following:

• Relevant qualifications and/or experience working with the target group.
• A knowledge and sensitivity to the barriers that may prevent families and young people at risk from achieving their full potential.
• Previous experience leading and managing a team.
• Excellent organisational skills including the ability to plan prioritise and meet deadlines.
• The ability to work independently and also as part of a specialised team.
• Intermediate/proficient level of IT and Administrative skills.
• Advanced communication skills verbally and written.
• Effective interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Act with integrity in all organisational activities and maintain confidentiality.

Role Requirements:

• Able to work across other Ngala sites as required.
• Possession of a current National Police Certificate.
• Possession of current WA drivers licence.
• Possession of current Working with Children check
