The Global Experience team is seeking a AI Enablement Localization Specialist to own and evolve multilingual AI and MT solutions including terminology governance multilingual AI enablement and MT/LLM quality across global products. This role focuses onguiding the multilingual aspects of AIenabled solutions owning translation solutions and workflowsevolvinglinguistic knowledge assetsand ensuring consistent highquality multilingual output at scalethrough datadriven evaluation and continuous improvement. Therole acts as a primaryowner of themultilingualaspects ofAI-enabled solutions workingclosely with Product DocumentationEngineeringand vendorteamseasmultilingual AIcapabilities aredesignedimplementedandintegratedintoproducts andcustomerfacing experiences.
As a AI Enablement Localization Specialist you will:
Terminology & Knowledge Assets
Createmanageandevolveglossaries style guides and other linguistic and cultural assets
Design and owntheterminology extraction process forproducts
Drive a cross-functional effort to maintain central terminology database (Publications team Marketing Products)
Govern multilingual term bases as a single source of truth for AI and MT ensure consistency between glossary and TM translations.
Collaborate with multilingual vendors and in-house teams to optimize workflows translation memory and terminology management.
Machine Translation/AI and Model Evaluations
Maintain and prepare glossary assets for MT trainings and LLM RAG
Own MT and LLM enginestrategy includingselection trainingapproachbenchmarkingmethodologyand evaluation
Own the design selection and evolution of translation solutions including MT LLMbased translation and hybrid workflows used across products and translation pipelines
Determinewhen shared translation solutions can be reused across product and workflow contexts and when differentiated approaches arerequired
Measure MT or LLM output quality on a regular basis per locale for 20 languages. Create and execute improvement plans when scores fall beyond a threshold.
Design and test various localization workflow improvements by using AI (such as APE LQE and LQA)
Quality Evaluation
Collectfeedback from various stakeholders to establish end quality requirements.
Define evaluation frameworks to access both raw MT/AI and post-edited translation quality
Implement evaluation frameworkandmonitorperformance per locale
Develop and execute improvement plans when quality standards are not met
Multilingual AI Crossfunctional Enablement
Partnerwith Product Docs and Engineeringteams to define and guidethemultilingualaspects ofAI-enabledfeaturesensuring language quality consistency and scalability requirements are met as solutions are implementedinto productsandcustomerfacing experiences.
Lead Multilingual AI capabilities testing and ensure it adheres to company standardsterminologyand tone of voice. Provide recommendations for model improvements if needed.
Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organizations secure software development goals.

Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5years of experience in working in a localization terminologist machine translation and/or multilingual AI focused role ideally in a stakeholder or client-facing environment.
- Bachelors degree required preferably in Linguistics Computer Science or related fields. Masters is a plus.
- Expert on Machine Learning LLMs NLP process automation and technology out of the box thinking with data analytical skills to drive great customer experience
- Experience with building and maintaining terminology databases
- Experience evaluating machine translation quality using automated metrics such as edit distance BLEU and COMET and interpreting results to guide MT and LLM quality decisions.
- Experience setting up and using linguistic quality framework managing quality control processes for linguistic outputs ensuring adherence to high-quality standards
- Experience using localization technology (TMS/CAT tools machine translation LLMs) and processes particularly for CICD software deployment model
- Proficiency in additional language(s).
- Proven ability to solve complex linguistic and technical challenges attention to detail
- Ability to measure analyze and present data to stakeholders.
- Ability to adjust working hours to accommodate a variety of time zones
- Equivalent combination of related education training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
