Job Summary:

Provide administrative support to the in-house legal team for Tokio Marine North America Inc. Works in a shared services environment to deliver high quality legal services to Tokio Marines US subsidiaries.

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for logging maintaining and tracking lawsuits subpoenas and other legal documents served on the of lawsuits for bad faith / ECD claims
• Provide assistance with management of the Companys corporate insurance policies; support the application process and monitor and track claim activity
• Responsible for logging maintaining and tracking of consumer complaints and coordinating the response process with the applicable business unit
• Monitor and track internal company license filing requirements
• Assist with the preparation of board materials corporate resolutions and unanimous consent documents
• Manage outside counsel billing and vendor invoicing
• Provide administrative support to the legal team

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree strongly preferred
• 3-5 years relevant working experience
• Superior knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Excel
• Experience with legal matter management tools (e.g. Relativity iManage)
• Understanding of basic service of process requirements and protocols
• General understanding of property and casualty insurance is a plus but not required
• Superior writing and communications skills
• Strong analytic ability
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
