The opportunity

Responsible for maintaining the accounts payable functions whilst ensuring accurate and timeliness processing of invoices together with the investigation and analysis of variances.

• Processing of payments by matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery dockets and distribute cheques according to established procedures
• Prepare cheques and EFT payments
• Verify vendor statements and handle all correspondence involving accounts payable
• Assist in resolution of complaints between vendor and customer
• Assist with month and year-end close out procedures and records

You will have:

• 2 years experience in a similar role
• A good understanding of the financial compliance around recording activities for commercial entities in respect of GST FBT and PAYG
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable accounts payable and maintaining general ledgers
• High attention to detail
