Job Summary
This is a regional MondayFriday sleeper (bunk) position - drivers stay in the truck most nights during the week and return home weekends. Involves cross-border runs.
What youre responsible for:
- Operate Class AZ tractortrailer equipment for longhaul routes.
- Perform safe and timely pickup and delivery of freight.
- Conduct thorough pretrip enroute and posttrip inspections.
- Maintain accurate elogs and adhere to all MTO/DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding load status.
- Ensure cargo is secured according to safety and company standards.
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- You have a valid AZ drivers license with a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
- Valid Passport
- You have experience driving 18 speedmanual transmission (required)
- You have a minimum of 3years of experience as an AZ Driver
- You are physically fit and able to hand tarp 40 and 53yd bins
- You can perform loading and unloading activities as required
- You are familiar with metal recycling processes and materials (an asset)
