Traveling Plant Maintenance Technician (Monday–Friday Travel)

SRM Concrete is seeking a skilled Traveling Plant Maintenance Technician to support our operations across our 24-state this role you will travel to various SRM Concrete plant locations throughout the week (Monday through Friday) with overnight stays required as you work at different sites. A daily per diem is provided to cover travel expenses. Youll return home every weekend allowing for a healthy work-life Responsibilities:Travel to SRM Concrete plants across our 24-state footprint Monday through Friday including overnight stays as needed to conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems identifying and addressing issues that could disrupt preventative maintenance tasks at multiple sites according to a scheduled plan minimizing unexpected breakdowns or operational and repair mechanical electrical and plumbing issues efficiently ensuring minimal impact on plant welding skills to fabricate repair or reinforce plant structures and equipment as with plant management at each location to prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency and operational detailed records of maintenance activities repairs parts used and time spent at each current with the latest maintenance techniques and safety protocols to ensure all work is performed safely and with external contractors and specialists for complex repairs or installations requiring specific plant safety teams by identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions at each in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in maintenance safety and plant :Proven experience in a maintenance role within an industrial manufacturing or similar environment; concrete plant experience is highly proficiency in electrical systems plumbing and welding; relevant certifications or qualifications problem-solving skills and attention to detail; able to perform complex repairs under communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and as part of a team across multiple to safety and thorough understanding of occupational health and safety school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or vocational degree is a drivers license and ability to safely operate various types of plant to undergo SRMs pre-employment and willingness to travel Monday through Friday including overnight stays across our 24-state footprint; home on Environment:Regular physical activity including lifting bending and standing for extended to noise dust and outdoor weather conditions at various plant availability for emergency repairs outside regular hours as & Benefits:Daily Per Diem:Provided for all travel days to cover meals and incidental :Opportunities for advancement in a rapidly growing with Balance:Travel across our 24-state footprint during the week with overnight stays; home every Compensation:Hourly pay with eligibility for bonuses and annual Benefits:Comprehensive benefits package including low-cost medical dental vision STD LTD and life insurance paid holidays PTO and vacation programs 401k with $100 match/week family days and more!Overtime Opportunities:Daily overtime after 8 hours and weekly after 40 Us:SRM strives to be the largest most profitable construction material company in the country while maintaining a best-in-class 5 Principles of Service:Safety Quality Kindness Cleanliness Go-Getter
