Financial Accountant Cost Engineer Refinery Construction

Turner & Townsend is seeking aFinancial Accountantthat is an experienced and analytical individual to join our Oil & Gas Pipeline client. This role will be responsible for the preparation and support of monthly operational cost reports and ensuring the accuracy completeness and timeliness of reports. Furthermore this individual will be responsible for collaborating with the wider business in the aggregation of financial information to assist in the documentation review and communication.

Duties Include: 

• Track financial performance against budget monthly and annually 
• Manage and update monthly forecasts and provide variation reports 
• Reconcile actuals vs. forecasted amounts per month 
• Review and track project financial performance 
• Sox control responsibilities may be part of this role which are to be adhered to where applicable. 

Key Attributes 

• Proficiency in analyzing data to identify trends patterns and insights. 
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting. 
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills 
• Experience in SAP and Ariba is a plus 
• Experience utilizing data visualization tools like Power BI is a plus. 
• Managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related field. 
• Proven 2-5 years of post-grad experience in financial analysis and reporting or related role.  
• Excellent analytical organizational and project management skills. 
• Effective communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to various stakeholders. 
• Experience in a fast-paced dynamic environment. 

Additional Information :

The salary range for this full-time role is $85K-$95 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range depending on candidates experience and qualifications.
