Job Summary
The Chemical and Physical Sciences Department at MSSU is currently seeking candidates for a one-semester non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor Position in Physics starting August 2026 in Joplin Missouri. Successful candidates should be prepared to teach physics I physical science and possibly other physics courses.
The position requires demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and advising at the undergraduate level. A masters degree or Ph.D. in Physics or a related field is preferred; however candidates who are ABD will be considered.
