A leading and well-established organisation within the manufacturing sector is seeking a highly analytical Costing Manager to join their finance team based in Johannesburg South. This is an excellent opportunity for a CIMA-qualified professional with deep expertise in costing budgeting and product profitability analysis.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the full costing function ensuring the accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOMs) monitoring production variances and supporting strategic decision-making through robust financial insights. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys partnering with operations to improve margins and efficiency.

- Maintain and review Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Analyse manufacturing and production variances
- Prepare budgets forecasts and cost reports
- Monitor inventory valuation and cost accuracy
- Conduct profitability and margin analysis
- Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and costing standards
Job Experience & Qualifications:
- BCom and CIMA qualification essential
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong exposure to product costing and BOM management
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and business partnering ability
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
