About the role

This is an exciting new role at the Money Advice Trust and a genuine opportunity for someone to make it their own.

Werelooking for a creative and strategic SeniorSocial Mediaand Content Officer to lead and evolve our social media and content across our well-known charitable services (NationalDebtlineand BusinessDebtline) and our training and consultancy arm.

Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager in the Brand and Marketing teamyoullbalancepurposedrivenstorytelling withperformancefocusedmarketing shaping content that raises awareness drives engagement supports serviceuptakeand promotes our B2B training and consultancy services.

The Money Advice Trust is a UK charity providing free impartial debt advice to individuals and small mission is to help prevent financial difficulty and remove problem debt from peoples lives.

Alongside our advice services we deliver training and consultancy to help organisations better support customers in vulnerable circumstances.

Whatyoulldo

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive social media and content strategy aligned to organisational goals
  • Plan create and publish engagingaccessibleand empathetic content across social media webemailand campaigns
  • Manage content calendars across platforms including LinkedIn Facebook Instagram X and YouTube
  • Translate complex debt advice and financial information into clearaudiencefocusedcontent
  • Lead social content for B2C advice services and B2B training and consultancy
  • Plan and manage paid social campaigns including budget oversight and optimisation

About you

Youllbe an experienced social media and content professional who combines strategic thinking leading activity comfortable using data to inform decisions and motivated by the opportunity to make a social impact.

Youllbring:

  • Experience in asocial media or contentmarketingrole
  • A strong understanding ofmultichannelcontent planning and delivery
  • Experience running paid social campaigns and managing budgets
  • The ability to communicate complex or sensitive information clearly and compassionately
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence using insightmetricsand reporting
  • Excellent collaboration andstakeholdermanagementskills
