Executive Assistant to CEO
Location: London office Spitalfields.
Salary: 52585
Contract: Fulltime permanent
Working pattern: Hybrid on average 1 day per week in office. (2 days whilst settling in)
Charity People is delighted to be partnering with the Fund for Global Human Rights to recruit for their next Executive Assistant to the CEO & President.
The Fund for Global Human Rights (FGHR) is a leading international funder supporting frontline activists and organisations advancing human rights in some of the worlds most challenging contexts. This is a highimpact Executive Assistant role providing trusted proactive support to the CEO & President while also acting as a central pillar of governance and Board coordination across UK and US entities.
You will work at the heart of the organisation ensuring the CEOs time priorities and communications are expertly managed and that Board and Committee cycles are delivered with rigour accuracy and confidence.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide highlevel proactive support to the CEO managing a complex international diary
- Prepare briefings presentations and correspondence for senior meetings and external engagements
- Coordinate UK and international travel logistics and briefing materials
- Act as a trusted gatekeeper handling sensitive information with discretion
- Coordinate Board and Committee cycles across UK and US entities
- Take accurate minutes and maintain statutory and governance registers
- Ensure compliance with Charity Commission and Companies House requirements
- Act as the main point of contact for the London office and key suppliers
Essential Criteria:
- Significant experience as a PA or EA to a CEO (not Directorlevel)
- Proven experience supporting Boards or Trustees including preparing papers and taking formal minutes
- Strong practical knowledge of UK charity governance including Charity Commission requirements
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders across cultures and time zones
