Support a fast-paced beauty retail environment in a dynamic role combining customer service reception support and order fulfillment. This position is ideal for a reliable adaptable team member comfortable multitasking providing excellent customer care and assisting with day-to-day retail operations.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Title: Beauty Retail & Operations Associate

Duration: 25 days (May 18 2026 June 12 2026)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule: MondayFriday 9:00 AM5:30 PM PST

Work Type: Onsite

Reporting Location: Los Angeles CA (515 Shatto Place Studio 1886)

COMPENSATION:

Pay Rate: $21.14/hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE & SALES:

Assist walk-in customers with product recommendations and purchases

Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge

Answer customer questions and address inquiries professionally

Build positive customer relationships and interactions

Ensure customer satisfaction during retail experience

RECEPTION & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:

Support reception duties including greeting guests

Handle customer inquiries and direct to appropriate resources

Manage walk-in traffic and appointments

Maintain professional front-desk presence

Answer phones and provide information as needed

INVENTORY & ORDER FULFILLMENT:

Pick and pack online orders accurately and efficiently

Process and prepare shipments for delivery

Ship orders and maintain fulfillment documentation

Verify order accuracy before shipment

Track inventory levels and update systems

STORE OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE:

Restock shelves and maintain organized product displays

Keep retail space clean and organized

Support overall store organization and workflow

Assist during peak times and busy periods

Maintain merchandise presentation standards

Help organize and prep store areas as needed

TEAM SUPPORT:

Work collaboratively with team members

Support other associates with customer service needs

Assist with store events and promotional activities

Help maintain positive team environment

Take on additional operational tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE:

Beauty retail cosmetics or skincare experience preferred

Customer service experience required

Reception experience required

Retail or hospitality background preferred

Point-of-sale (POS) system experience a plus

LANGUAGES:

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

English fluency required
