Production Supervisor

Position Summary

Supports daily production operations by helping the team meet production schedules maintain inventory accuracy and ensure efficient workflow across the manufacturing floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate daily weekly and hourly production priorities to team members
• Monitor work order progress and ensure timely completion
• Reconcile and close work orders daily
• Assist with inventory preparation cycle counts and reconciliations
• Coordinate with shipping/receiving regarding back orders urgent parts and material shortages
• Maintain and update operator training records and training matrix
• Track and report production KPIs
• Serve as backup production scheduler when needed
• Assist in developing and updating SOPs
• Supervise production team members and support employee performance management
• Partner with production and quality teams to resolve quality issues
• Audit production paperwork and records for accuracy
• Report accidents near misses and employee concerns to management
• Communicate shipment accuracy inventory levels and recordkeeping updates to leadership

Qualifications

• High school diploma GED or equivalent required; additional education preferred
• 58 years of manufacturing experience required
• Minimum 3 years of direct supervisory experience
• Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Technical Skills

• Microsoft 365
• Email and internet systems
• ERP systems are preferred

Certifications

• Valid drivers license
• First Aid CPR and AED certification preferred

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• On-site position with 1st shift schedule: 5:00 AM 2:30 PM
• Overtime required as needed
• Frequent standing walking lifting and reaching
• Regular lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to manufacturing equipment and moderate noise levels
