Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in assessing the capabilities of the Missile Defense System (MDS). This critical role will involve working in a distributed Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) simulation environment contributing to MDA Ground Test (GT) events Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI) activities and MDA Flight Test (FT) support. The primary focus will be analyzing the Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) delivering analytical support to MDAs distributed software threat simulation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide M&S framework analysis support for GT events CDI activities and Flight Test support.
• Perform verification of OSF and element configuration settings based on HWIL run data and documentation.
• Perform the analysis for the integration of current and future software capabilities into OSF.
• Ensure event data quality and integrity through verification and validation analysis of test data.
• Develop and run Python tools to support M&S analysis activities.
• Document and communicate analysis results across interdisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with a team of analysts and engineers to ensure the successful execution of test simulation campaigns.

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering Mathematics Physics or Computer Science from an accredited university
• 10 years experience
• Experience with Modeling and Simulation Frameworks.
• Expertise in areas of Missile Defense data analysis to include trajectory RF/EOIR signatures environmental effects or tactical communications.
• Familiarity with Python scripting language.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Possess the ability to clearly express ideas/concepts perform as part of a team and be capable of operating in a multi-tasking environment.
• Displays excellent communication organizational and technical writing skills and takes a proactive role to ensure that responsibilities are completed on or ahead of schedule.
• Displays the ability to work within a collaborative environment composed of Government Prime Contractor and Supporting Contractor personnel.
• Possess the ability to present and explain analytical information in front of varied audiences.

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the HWIL architecture infrastructure including truth presentation utilizing Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) adapter and/or Ground Test Integrated System Simulation (GTISS) adapter.
• Knowledge of the HWIL architecture infrastructure truth presentation to the element models (SMHR signatures environment).
• Familiarity with data analysis libraries in Python (e.g. Pandas NumPy).
• Familiarity with Network Systems Integration and Test Environment (NSITE).
• Familiarity with MDA Ground Test CONOPS.

Travel: 0-10%

Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret security clearance is required; Top Secret clearance is desired.
